Acceptance Testing

Acceptance testing is performed after system testing is done and all or most of the major defects have been fixed.

The goal of acceptance testing is to establish confidence in the delivered software/system that it meets the end user/customers requirements and is fit for use Acceptance testing is done by user/customer.

Acceptance testing is a final stage of testing that is performed on a system prior to the system being delivered to a live environment.

The steps taken for User Acceptance testing that are follows:

  • User Acceptance Test (UAT) Planning

  • Designing UA Test Cases

  • Selecting a Team that would execute the (UAT) Test Cases

  • Executing Test Cases

  • Documenting the Defects found during UAT

  • Resolving the issues/Bug Fixing
