Grey-Box Testing

Grey Box testing is software testing technique that uses a combination of white box testing black box testing.

In gray box testing, test engineer is equipped with the knowledge of system and designs test cases or test data based on system knowledge.  Gray Box testers have access to detailed design documents with information beyond requirement documents.  Gray Box tests are generated based on information such as state-based models or architecture diagrams of the target system.
